Utriusque Cosmi, Vol. 1., Oppenheim 1617

via Ancient Egypt Mystery Schools ------- HUMAN DIVINE FORM

The frontispiece to the 1st volume of Utrisque Cosmic shows, in the outer circle, the Ptolemaic macrocasm, whose reflection in all parts is man.

In the innermost circle are the 4 humours of man, corresponding to the elements. To the central, black circle corresponds the outermost macrocosmic boundary of goat-footed Chronos-Saturn, who unrolls the great universal year. The Swastika-like sign on his hourglass represents the polar forces that govern the whole universe: systole-sulpher and diastole-mercury. Sun and moon of both cosmoi. - Utriusque Cosmi, Vol. 1., Oppenheim 1617.
